Lifestyle Chef aka Pete developed a loyal following whilst working as Head Chef at one of the UK’s premiere weight loss & wellness retreats. Fans of his food wanted a way to enjoy his food at home, this left Pete searching for a solution that would allow busy people to replicate his menus with total ease and convenience.
Recovering corporate city-worker and perpetual fad dieter Mari, was a guest at the retreat where she was blown away by Pete’s creative and delicious menu – it was too good to be diet food? Mari had experienced a diet delivery service whilst working in the US, and although the convenience and the concept was great the food itself left something to be desired. Combining their experience, they committed to creating a company that would prioritise: the quality and taste of the food, that would exclude the nasty ingredients & additives found in most convenience products and above all would redefine that traditional concept of dieting & healthy eating.
After three successful years of growth, Pete and Mari decided that like any good caveman PaleoChef needed to evolve. The new brand, Lifestyle Chef, provides great opportunity to broaden our offering – always underpinned by Pete’s fabulous food and our top-notch customer service.

OUR FOOD CHAIN
We make everything from scratch so that we know exactly what goes into our meals. Sourcing high quality, seasonal produce from suppliers that we know and trust is an integral part of our service. Using the best quality, fresh produce from local suppliers allows our chefs to create devastatingly delicious dishes with maximum flavour. It’s all about great produce, creatively cooked – we don’t need to add additives or sugar.
Our meat comes from small Welsh farms, small holdings and artisan producers across South Wales; from the marshes of Monmouthshire to the rolling greens of the Vale. Most of our meat comes direct from Rosedew Farm in the Vale of Glamorgan and is butchered by man-mountain and South African native, Dawie Beyers. Our pork comes from our friend Rich and his family farm in North Wales, they supply us with the best, out-door reared free range pork in Wales and they hand-make our gluten-free pork sausage using natural sheep casing. Our chefs treat the produce with the respect it deserves to reflect the care and animal husbandry that we know goes into rearing premium meat. We’re proud to support our local agricultural community and make friends along the way. Our award-winning fishmonger is Wales’ oldest, independent fish supplier who help us sustainably source the best produce.
